just picked up the new No Quarter, they will be having another Summer Rampage special league which will take place beginning july 21st through august 8th. i talked with john and he will only do the league if we have enough people or pay more since the league kits cost an assload. We managed to get 10 last summer lets try again this summer.
so here's the list so far:

People need to participate in the Summer league! Summer Rampage is SUPERfun, and in my opinion, is the best league season for Warmachine/ Hordes.
If anyone is interested but has not made the investment yet, you have options!
I will be playing my Cryx, so I have full Menoth, Everblight, and Khador armies you could use if you like. I will transport minis, you just have to show up.
Additionally, I am thinking of selling my Khador army. I have well over 1000 points worth of stuff, including most of the warcasters. If you are interested for starting Warmachine on the cheap, let me know. I will cut you a better deal than you will find anywhere on Khador.

I've been interested in Khador since I got Warmachine: Prime and the Khador box set long time back now. I just don't have the money right now to pull it off:(

I'm ready to play. Rios said John ordered the kit and we will be running it ourselves. $15 for the kit divided between whoever plays...can be real cheap guys.
I don't wanna be a dick about it but is there anything else you can play army-wise adam? You dominate and its no fun for other people. Just my two cents.

Basically, it is as many games a week as you want, and you get a number of points based on your wins/losses/rampages. It is a lot of fun, especially with a lot of people.

Are you seriously asking me not to play my army? Like I don't dominate with my Menoth? My Cryx is far from unbeatable- especially with some of the new stuff out from Evoultion and Legends. Just ask Mike how well my Bane Knights fared against his Incubi (the answer is they got annihilated). If you are having trouble against my army, either readjust your tactics or proxy some stuff you haven't used before. Mike did, and now he kicks the shit out of me (I still win, I just barely win). Here are some hints against my Cryx- -If I run Goreshade, just stay outside his control radius and you can cast spells until your heart is content. Use your beasts to get close to him and fuck him up in hand to hand. He will have to use all of his focus to keep casting 'Mage Blight,' so he won't have focus to fight or boost his armor. -Remember- assassinations are WAY easier to pull off on Warmachine than with Hordes. Try to nail the warcaster- we can't transfer damage. -Try to hit the Bane Knights with ranged before they engage. Sure they get to move up a little bit, but that just means they are closer for you to shoot and/or trample. -The DeathJack is not that tough. Rios knocked him out in a single charge with his Carnivean (with attacks to spare). -My whole tactic with my Cryx is to hit fast and hard with no regard for my own safety (like a Hordes player). Exploit that by playing the same way. Don't be afraid to sacrifice some troops in order to set up a caster kill -Try to tie up my heavy hitters with cheap bullshit units. If my Banes or the Deathjack is busy killing cheap troopers or little jacks, they will not be hurting important stuff. -Don't get tied down in any big complicated tactics or battle plans. Adapt to the battlefield environment, use terrain to your advantage, and kick some ass. I haven't even gotten into the new stuff yet (Precursor Knights, hordes Infantry droppers). It has been a long time since I ran my Cryx. A lot has changed in the game since then (with both eratta, new casters, new units). Don't get disheartened before you even hit the table. My Cryx aren't that bad. Don't be scrrrd. |

I admit you are right. I have been trying new things because of Ben Silver. Most of them work out nicely. YOU ARENT AROUND MUCH TO TRY THINGS ON! :-P
Anyways, I admit I WAS A PUSSY WHEN I POSTED THAT! However, I am not now...I'm coming for you Adam! Bwahahaha!

last year they had actual pins for the summer rampage so lets hope for that...also after reading the NQ#19 (newest) with the little preview section it gives, finishing moves hit harder and should cause more trouble, while rampages seem even hard for adam to pull off  |
