I dont know how many of you are absorbed by mmo's, especially that shitty WoW, but Warhammer Online looks promising, and i know there is atleast a couple people from the club that are gonna start playing...i was thinking if theres enough people playing we should fo a guild (if there is such a thing in the game) for the miniature club players, the game comes out sometime in February so theres no rush or money woes yet

nah it has its own system, and the game play is very different than wow. On that note i will be picking it up. The next question is are we going to be good or evil. I personally want to be evil i want to be a dark elf.

uh i think we're leaning more towards good..i know i want a high elf shadow warrior and josh wants an empire warpriest...you can always have multiple characters though

Yeah I am probabaly gonna go with Empire Priest or Witch Hunter. Caleb just because your republican ways are evil doesnt mean you have to be evil characters in video games.

I was thinking going evil too the good side races just aren't doing it for me when it comes to Warhammer Fantasy; evil is much more interesting. The Witch Hunters look pretty sweet though it'll be a tough decision.

GW may own the WH name, but I doubt they have their own studio to produce this. However, I think that it looks very good. Also after Star wars Galaxies bombed on the combat update...I think I will give this...or the Star Trek MMO a shot...Star Trek is just beginning production so definitely will pick up WHO <- Lol Warhammer Online.

Wow I'm shocked anyone knows that the Starwars MMORPG only bombed after that lousy "combat update" patch that completely destroyed the game from the ground up... it was a sad day and led to the end of my first MMORPG  . I just hope this game doesn't go the same way or become mind numbingly redundant like WoW. |

wow isnt redundant, and i am looking forward to war. I dont want two characters because, im still going to play wow at the same time and i still only have one char on wow. I want to play the evil side just because the characters look better and trust me the better players will be on the evil side, and the kids will be on the side of the empire.

So we would all be evil and picking on the young kids....sounds like any old GW store you walk into lol.
We'll see...we should have it set up so we know whos what alignment, and then we can arrange battles against club members...you know, if people aren't one alignment.
This game sounds great.
And yes I know SWG very well. Played since launch...since I am a very avid fan...and even beta tested jump to lightspeed. They should have stuck with the old class system. Game is dying after this year anyways, and I think Bioware is picking it up and making it a KOTOR era MMO. Which would make sense if the population was like 90% jedi lol.

I'm guessing obviously it will be $50 for the game. Any ideas how much a month it will cost? I am interested yet skeptical. Also, are the computer requirements going to be retardedly high?
I definitely think evil would be super sweet, but a witchhunter is also how I roll...
