From the discussions we have and from preliminary talks with John at On Board Games! it looks like there will be a monthly Warmachine tournament on the last Saturday of every month.
More than likely it will be very similar to the last one. Only difference is it may start earlier at noon. It may go for one more round.
None of these details are concrete as things still need to be cleared with John as he hosts the tournaments.

I've already schedualled a Tourney for Feb. 24th (Saturday) and I'll run it at Noon. Look forward to some new missions. It'll prolly be 3 rounds unless I see some more interest, then I'll bump it up to 4. Some other good news, I finally got around to talking to PP and I'll have official stuff for this tourney! The means certs, patches and some foily thing I didn't quite catch. No coins for this one, but perhaps the next. Huzza for stuff!
LEAGUE PLAY: Some of you may have noticed on PP's site that they're starting their first of many seasonal leagues. February begins their Winter League (little late PP, but we'll forgive you). Again this is supported by pins, patches and more stuff that I didn't really pay complete attention to. Point is, I'll be getting a bunch of this support in and I really look forward to running these leagues! PP'll post new missions, weather conditions and special rules for each week of the league. Right now it's geared towards Warmchine (in pin and patch pictures) but I'll be opening the league up to both sides of the hobby. Later leagues will have awards geared towards Hordes and Warmachine. Anyway, this looks like a lot of fun! Can't wait to get the stuff in and start'r up. Look forward to more info/events late Feb (or when I get around to figuring all this out)

I know there were a couple of people who were discussing the league thing so I know that interest is there for it.

Why only three rounds? It did not appear that we were short on time during our last tournament, and having only three rounds lead to uncertainty over who had actually won (since people had the same score) and arbitrary winner selection. It would just seem to me that with the 8-10 people we have, another round would not be so bad. Clear victors would emerge, and we would get to play more. Additionally, those scenarios were kind of goofy. They benefitted me as a speedy Cryx player, don't get me wrong, but slower armies were at a distinct disadvantage. In my opinion, straight up slugfests would probably make the tournament run alot smoother (straight VP's). Not only would everyone know what they were getting into, but there would be less rule confusion over control points and such.
Just food for thought. I had a great time at the last Tournament, I am just adding some constructive criticism.

The only thing I didn't like about the game, is that if you had to go up against a Hordes player in the final "kill the caster" scenario - you were at such a huge diasadvantage if you were Warmachine. I mean, since they can exchange damage with their beasts - as long as they hold a few Fury you're essentially stopped from killing them.
Do we have a painting rule in effect yet? My goal is to have one of my lists painted by next tournament - the other is kind of on the back burner.

@ Adam:
One round extra might be nice, but I also kinda liked being done by five. I could go either way on that.
As for the scenarios, yeah. The Steamroller 2 scenarios are a bit weak. Straight VPs aren't perfect either, though, especially for certain lists. I think the Steamroller 3 scenarios look a lot better, and would vote for them next time.

I'm deffinatly gonna use the last event to improve the next. Your critism helps too! Since we will have more people this one will deffinatly go 4 rounds. 5 might be a little much. I know we have some people that where hoping to done by 4 pm though to go to work... lemmie know if this'll be an issue cause starting at 12 ain't gonna cut it.
I should have some steamroller 3 stuff for the next tourney, and with 4 rounds one of the missions will be VP for kills only.
With people still getting into the game the not-fully-painted rule will still be in effect. I think March's Tourney though will have some kind of bonus for a fully painted army, like 3 win points (you get 5 for winning a match). I'll work on that.
Thanks for the input. Look for tourney rules mid-month.

So what constitutes a painted army? If I have my base coat colors, and have them based, are they "painted"?

Gotta break my balls don't ya? I hesitate to use the GW concept (three colors+based) but it is pretty good, so I use my concept:
If it looks done an dyou convince me it's done, I'll accept it. If it looks like I could walk out into a field and see your 'jack their, in it's natural environment then I'll take it... drugs help with this.
Anyway, if it looks painted it's painted. It will be the judge's call (me). Simply primed will not do. And I'll only accept one person playing a "well it's all totally black because it's my army of ninja's" army.
Along these lines if your unit is mostly done but needs some highlights or to finish the button's on his jacket I wouldn't fault you for not having it full painted. If it's missing an arm, well, that's a bit too much.

Hmm, with those guidelines I'm not sure if I'll be able to play in the next tournament unless I can be the guy to invoke the "ninja army" theme.

It's not like you won't be able to play, you just won't get bonus points.
Honestly, it only takes a minute to throw a couple base colors on and paint the base brown. Especially for the smaller unit sizes of Warmachine.

Especially for the smaller unit sizes of Warmachine. If it doesn't grossly affect my placement, then I'll be sure to be there. I don't like just 'slapping' colors on though. I enjoy sitting down and spending my 2-3 hours to finish a jack. I know I'm slow, but I'm also practicing with an airbrush. I hope you guys like the jacks I finished, they have a very dirty - steam powered - look to them. At least I like them. Oh, Adam did you get my voice mail about that static grass? I was hoping to put a few piece on the jack bases and I don't want to drive out to St. Charles to buy them. EDIT: I will also pay you, Luong, or anyone else any amount of money to just paint eyes on my infantry. It'll amount to less than 10 figures because most of them have goggles (which I think I can handle).

I will gladly paint eyes! I have learned how recently and I thoroughly enjoy it for some reason. It's too bad most of my models have helmets...

Vic, I would, but I would also be absolutely terrified of screwing up your paint job somehow if I messed up. I can paint eyes, I'm just not the most proficient person.
But, if you really want, I'd do it for free. It's not a big deal.

"Eyes... I just do eyes... [shiver]" -anybody know where this is from?
Yeah Andrew, your desire to do eyes is a little creepy. Anyway, this next event in feb will be non-painted (no extra points for painted/not-painted) but prolly the one in March will be extra points for painted armies.

We can have an eye painting marathon! I've gotta get some damn infantry done first, but so far all my colors are enamels so you could just use acrylics and wipe off any mistakes.
I'm just frustrated as hell trying to do these eyes on my IG that I've given up on all eyes.

Oh wait, that sounds super gay.... JK
Yeah, if it's just a few guys, I can do my best and try.

eyes on IG should be easy... Just say they're all 'battle scarred' or that you run the 'deformed regiment' You could paint big wacky eye symbols on everything... haha. Maybe they're just wear those big goofy goggles :-)
