I liked it as is...were the two dwarf buildings move-able? If so you can change around the whole thing around for different armies. Josh also said he bought enough to make a bigger table...maybe extend it?

Just an idea, but maybe we can run a 40k board dealing with kill teams in a city with lots of zombies. Kind of Resident Evil-esque/Dawn of the Dead.

Yeah Andrew and Caleb are doing that already. Not saying we cant but just wanted to let you know. I like the idea though...there was one table this year at GD 2008 that did that and their board was amazing...running water, lights, and a working tv with sound.

Me and Friz ... and maybe Bill, are doing a 400 pt kill teams (2 squads per army) that can become a bigger table for a big apocalypse game.

I know there were a lot of people throwing out a similar idea before, I just modified it a bit. Ya something that has already been done is not a good idea. Originality is key. I guess we can just figure out what system we wanted to do first and then go from there. I think we should only steer towards 40k or fantasy if we come up with an original idea as rehashing it would not look good for the club or to the judges. "Oh we saw a table last year that did this same thing, it just looks different." That's just my take on it. Though, Caleb and Andrew should make a good board as it is a cool idea.

Let me know. I think after the holidays we can start planning and working just like last year. I think it will go a little quicker this time cause we kinda know what we need to do...plus sand should be dry. haha.
Anyways let me know and we can start brainstorming.

Randy, Caleb, James, and Adam M. just so you guys know I signed us up for tables at Gamesday. Two seperate tables. I figure we can bring the old 6 x 4 table with a new game goin on and then I will be building a new 4 x 4 table, which I will also be supplying my Adepticon Brets for.

I know you said that you signed up Adam M. already but I have not been able to contact him consistently enough, so Sean s. will now be disguised as Adam during gamesday

The scenario for the table James and I are doing is 1000 vs. 1000...road ambush type thing.
Not sure about the other table.

For the table 2, we are using last years, I am using same deamons at 2000pts (may change list a little) and Sean S. is going to use his 2000pt Mortal army that he painted for Adepticon
We are thinking of a beat the demons back into a chaos gate scenario
We will probability do the 6X4 board again and replace the Dwarven strong hold with the gate
For the small factory that I had, I can use the GW Plastic alter that I have from the spoils of GD2008
