This posting both does and does not belong on this forum... hooray for the jiggling, but it would've been more appropiate had LIVE weapon fire been used

I'm questioning the practicality of this the same way I question the practicality of fantasy armour. Though, I am all over the chick with the large calibre sniper rifle.... of course, it could just be the rifle....

They did use live ammo, thereby cutting down all of your complaints, huzzah! for only the good is left!
Seriously. If they had the money to supply .50 cal sniper rifles and all the other weapons with many and various attachments, you thought they couldn't afford live ammo? How silly. But yea. They started at 25 yards and moved progressively closer until they started hitting stuff...lolz. I could say I was impressed with the shooting of the sniper chick...but then I realize how close she was. Oh right, Ian's talking about the actual girl.

really? frankly except for perhaps one or two rounds of shooting the entire thing looked like paint ball tipped bullets. no offense to the ladies, but a woman with thin arms like that cannot fire a 0.30 calibre machine gun from the hip for any prolonged period of time like that it would probably break her arm (this goes for the lack of recoil in general and the improper positions many of the guns were held in, thus leading me to conclude given the nature of the video the vast majority were basically blanks). see what you've done by posting a video like this it's so beloved that i must criticize it so

I DID say it could just be the gun.... though, her with the gun was very Hellsing, which is always nice. But, big freaking gun... *drool* if I had to use a gun, that would be it. load it with hollow-points and I'd be loving the cantelope sized exit wounds.

I just have to chime in on this debacle... Having personally fired most of those weapons, I can tell you that they are live firing- no blanks (otherwise the recoil wouldn't be nearly knocking them on their asses- blanks do not have the same recoil as live ammo because there is no backwards momentum being created behind the bullet).
Anybody firing a 7.62 machine gun from the hip will be hurting (regardless of arm width), plus they won't hit a goddamn thing (similar to the girls in the video with any weapon- despite their point blank ranges)
The only thing I dislike about this video is the women's clear unfamiliarity or interest with any of the weapons. It is clear that the weapons were loaded, charged, and prepared by someone else, then just handed to the women to fire for a second or two. It is irritating in the same way that the hot chick commentators on the G4 video game network are- Both are involved in something they clearly do not have any interest or point of reference with. They are simply paired up in order to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
Now show me a video with a scantily clad chick firing a weapon she knows her way around... A rarity, but 1 million times hotter.
(side note- hollow points loaded in a sniper rifle wouldn't be worth a shit, as hollow points are horribly inaccurate and are therefore usually only manufactured in pistol calibers. To your delight, however, you will find that a .50 cal bullet will leave cantaloupe sized exit wounds anyway)

Amen. But that brings up the question... Would a girl who knows her way around a gun be scantly clad when firing it?

Psh, baby. My shoulder was barely sore after 100 rounds in a few hours at a shotgun tournament. Although I suppose it depends on the type and quality of shotgun. The one I was using had the kick of a .22, lolz.

I messed myself up with my Mossburg 590 Magnum 12 ga last summer- I was 'rapid firing' and didn't realize that a magnum round got mixed in with the normal 00 buck I loaded, and it just so happened that the buttstock slipped and was sitting on my bicep for the magnum round... I had a friggin' bruise for like a week.
As far as hip-firing a 7.62, I have fired an M240 from a pintle and prone, both of which offer a ton of control, but I have fired an MG42 with blanks from a hip fire... Even with the blanks the friggin think was jumping around so much that all I think you would be able to do with it is provide a nice barrage of covering fire- not actually hit anything.

Ouch! The most unlucky I've been so far is when I was younger, like around 14 or 15, I was trap shooting with my dad and his friend, and I accidently triggered both barrels on an over-under. Knocked me back a step and produced a nasty bruise.

If only it had been 10 years later, you could have been a youtube celebrity...
The only other weapon injuries I have received are the occasional spent brass from somebody else's weapon dropping down my collar or hitting my arm. Plus I have hearing damage in my right ear from machine gun fire. Oh, and I took a chunk out of my hand from the forward assist on an M16 from bayonet training.

I really hate public firing ranges... I don't trust the hillbilly and/or gangsta fucktard in the lane next to me not to point his weapon at me while he is loading/clearing/fucking around with it... I will take shooting on private property any day.

The range i was one wasnt public it was the grundy county police departments and only the other trainees were on using it at the time. It just was so small and we had so many people that brass was flying everywhere and getting on everyone.
