Take a look at this new league format that Privateer has put out. privateerpress.com/files/CompleteJourneyman.pdfI haven't talked to Bear about the package and what not but would anyone be interested in doing this format? It seems pretty interesting.... May even force me to paint! If we get enough interest we could start up at the beginning of October. Listing of those interested: 1. Rios 2. Greg 3. Jason 4. I would do it with my Cryx, since I have the Slayer maybe 1/4 painted and I pretty much only have the Battle Box. Plus it would be a good way to get business for the store and more players to travel to places like, I don't know, Iowa?

I start working up the details and post more on the big board at the store.
I think this will be a nice fit compared to the football-style league we did last year.
Figure we would start the league at the end of September... like Thursday, September 29... I will get everyone more details after talking with Bear this week.

I wouldn't mind starting sooner but they haven't listed the badge kits for this league and I wanted to be clear of September...
Plus we are having the tourney on the 17th to keep all of our Warmahordes cravings in check.
If time allows in September I may have another "fun event" to try out.

Okay, I spoke with Bear and I will work with him to get the pack ordered... So we can kick this thing off Thursday, Sept. 29th for all interested. I will also be at the store on Sunday, October 2nd for those that can't make it on Thursday.
Just so I can have a head count who is interested in this format? Cost to join is going to $5 per person. The format is a lot of battle box for the first couple few weeks so it is a great for starter players.

Just as a heads up, I can be at the shop as early as anybody wants to be to get some games in, though remember you can't play the same opponent multiple times in a route for points. Just let me know who wants to meet up and when.
