Many have asked about it and now we can start it. The Infinity Slow Grow League will start on Thursday, January 24th at 6:00.
So what is the Infinity Slow Grow League well it is a great way to learn the rules of this exciting game and build your force up at the same time.
The Details:
Where: New Game In Town
Starts: Thursday, January 24th and will run for 6 weeks.
Breakdown:
Week 1 (1/31-2/6) 150 point armies
Week 2 (2/7 - 2/13) 200 point armies
Week 3 (2/14 - 2/20) 200 point armies
Week 4 (2/21 - 2/27) 250 point armies
Week 5 (2/28 - 3/6) 250 point armies
Week 6 (3/7 - 3/14) 300 point armies
- Games can be played at any time during the week for points.
- Players can play against someone as many times as they want but cannot face the same opponent twice in a row. (Player A and Player B have a game. A and B cannot play again until they play a game against a different opponent.)
- You can change your lists from game to game. You do not have to build on the figures used at previous point levels. However you are locked into the same faction you started the league with. No switching factions.
- Proxies, If there is no figure in the Infinity range to represent the figure you want to use you may proxy something else from the Infinity range or something outside. In all cases alert you opponent of the proxy and try to use Infinity figures as much as possible.
- Games will be four turns in length (as per YAMS for a 4 x 4 table)
Scoring:
Matches will use the YAMS System for objective based Missions. (Download cards and rules here wargamingtrader.com/yams )
Winner Scores 3 VPs
Loser Scores 0 VPs
Ties Scores 1 VPs
Secondary Scoring, Objectives achieved
Tertiary Scoring, Points Surviving (figures not dead or unconscious at the end of the game, figures in retreat and still on the board count towards surviving)
Cost: $0 (no prizes at this point in time but then no cost to play either!!)
