Alrighty then I played two games of 40k at the meeting both of which were tourny matches. I got a crushing victory against adam's space marines and a victorious slaughter against Matt's witch hunters.
Sean if you want to try and get our battle in before the next meeing let me know or we could simply do it at the next meeting if you are there.

hey ian, i think i might be able to play later tonight. here is the deal though i have to work in stevenson at 9, but as long as i am in the building everyting is ok
im going to try and get a hold of one of the hall directors to open one of the rooms for us. if evertying goes as planned maybe we can start around 7 or 8?

Sounds good to me [c]aleb. I will of course play you. I am open to all challenges of course. Oh and Luong I noticed somthing in my codex I can take the dracite and a normaly Archon. My army will just not be led by the dracite but the archon. The dracite counts as an hq choice so I can simply take her as another hq. So if anyone has that phonix lord(the banshee one) i will be very thankful.

actually u can't take a drachite bc that's a wych lord which would change your whole army into a wych cult. it's archons/drachons or archites/drachites, but not both. there's a side note on the hq page that says basically what i said. and the note about taking as many drachons/drachites, that only applies to the lord u take. in your case it's an archon, so u can only take drachons, but as much as the force organization chart allows as each one takes up an hq choice.

Ah but if you look closely an army led by a archite/dracite will be changed but it is being led by an Archon. And no where does it say you have to stick to one genre of hq choices. As long as I say the army is being led by the archon and the dracite is just a support character there is nothing wrong with my list. It never says you cannot mix and match the archon and dracite. But I am sure it is not allowed if I ask gw which i really should on their boards. I will have to do that soon.

nope bc that's the backup choice for an archite which is part of a wych cult. it actually does say that you can't choose both, and it's understood that you cannot pick the lesser one bc remember an army could be led by a drachite, which would in fact make it a wych cult.

that's the thing, it says that you can only take a wych lord for a wych cult and an archon for regular army, and the drachite is the backup of the archite, while the drachon is the backup for the archon. trust me i tried to have both in my army, but using one or the other kind of conflicts with the whole wych cult/ reg army setup. while it would be cool to have both, they're basically saying that you can only have one or the other, but not both.

It says if it is leads the army not if you just take it as a back up character and have the archon lead the army. It does say if your army is lead by an archite/dracite. And I disagree about it clashing a dracite backing up an archon with a small contingent of wyches would make perfect "fluff" sense. More than just having the two unites of wyches. I sent in my question to gw we shall see.
