Secretary/President report for April 27th,
Today due to low attendance one 1500pt vs. 1500pt game was played. It was Tau and Eldar vs a large space marine force.
Tau & Eldar: Basically this army was comprised of almost all shooty forces. The Tau fielded a broadside, 4 stealth suits, 2 units of 6 fire warriors and, a Shaso. Eldar had a wratihlord(?), a bunch of sniper guys, a farseer(?), a tank thing, and a bunch of regular 8 point warriors.
Space marines were all foot sloggers minus one landspeeder(?), there were i think 3 tactical/assualt squads, two terminators squads, and one unit of grey knights, and an assasin.
Basically battle went like this Tau & Eldar fired and shot the crap out of Space Marines for two turns and then the the terminator squads deep striked in and Caleb and Josh thought they were in big trouble....but then they shot them to pieces.
All in All the Xenos won a crushing victory. It was a good time all around...it was nice to see my fire warriors on the table at the end of the game. I know i proably have alot of things wrong on here but....oh well. Next week a good secretary report will be up. Caleb, Adam, and Matt can feel free to add their 2 cents in to this report.

Only the second loss for the forces of the Imperium it seems. The first was my Blood Angels, but then it was also against mixed armies. When they complement each other like that, pain happens. But sounds like a rompin' time!

i want a to smoke a pipe, maybe ill take it up over the summer. It was amazing a squad of 8 guardian defenders took out two squads of terminators. The majority of the eighteen shots landed wounds so statistics was on my side.

It's a shame to see such valiant troops go down in a hail of fire so quickly. I feel confident that if they hadn't been wiped out upon arrival that they would have totally turned the tables on the Eldar/Tau force.

very true that was our only real hope. If we didnt accomplish that we would have been wiped out in like two turns

see what we should have done was deep striked the two squads at separate ends of their forces like one squad at the firewarrior end and one squad at the eldar end and then it probably would have been a lot better. that damn fortune was eldars only saving grace.
