Wow this was a fun game considering it was only 400 pts taking a little over an hour to complete. First, my skink priest was brutally destroyed in the first round of combat from josh's huntsmen. Then, saurus warriors marched 8 inches and received fire from empire riflemen (or whatever they're called). Josh's swordsmen then charged my saurus' and we engaged in fisticuffs for a while. His riflemen then flanked my saurus warriors. Saurus warriors then caused retreat to the riflemen but was still engaged with swordsmen. The swordsmen were then caused to retreat after a few rounds as well as the huntsmen causing retreat. My saurus warriors then charged the huntsmen and killed them off. Next, the riflemen were charged by my saurus warriors, retreated and overtaken. I believe at this point josh's swordsmen finally rallied 1 inch from the board. My saurus warriors then charged their swordmen with both only being down to half regiment. After some battling and some close calls, my saurus champion was the only one to survive. Even though he was still alive it was declared a draw. Some points of interest were a total of about 5 retreats with 1 inch away from overtaking on both sides. Unbelievable game for such a small amount of points and great job on both parts of josh and myself battling to the end!!!! Hooo!!!

no, no ,no it has to be one or the other...either it is a bad record (which it is not), or it is a"need to be improved record" (which it is), no more negativity....happy,happy, fun, fun. ;D

very true, im not usually negitive, but for some reason when I got on earlier i must have felt mean. My record isnt much better its like 3-7-0.

I am really looking forward to playing matt in a 1000pt game. It will be nice to see how he handles his army set up. I already know he is loading up on a kick butt Scar veteran...JSOD... I am looking forward to fighting that guy.

very true, but some of the new figs kinda look stupid...have you seen the saurus cavalry. Those new cold ones look incredibly stupid. IMOP.

Basically. There's no detail, they're carrying staffs, and they're nearly entirely covered by the robes. Very dull. Very unskaven.

also those figure might be good for plague monks.

And my empire have once again been defeated, and once again defeated because I forgot to do tons of things. So this is my new goal...TRY TO REMEMBER TO DO EVERYTHING (Such as count ranks when figuring out combat resolution, actually completeing movement and magic phase before rushing to fire my cannon at peasants!!!!)
This was only a very minor victory for matts lizardmen but still a victory. good game noetheless. I think I am losing all short term memory.

You forget to count ranks because you don't get to against my knights with the Banner of the Lady. Against other armies you do...

exact same thing I was thinking, I am so use to not counting them that I forgot to count them this time. It would have made a big difference in game. Oh well there is always next time.
