All right, I figured I'd start a thread about rules questions that pop up during games for us. If you get an official answer just post it here, or if you know the answer post where you found it. Man O' War Kovnik's can drive and attack in the same activation. Drive is an ability and it's completly free. So drive is the ability and the "Melee attack" part is signaling what kind of drive it is. It's a completly free action so you can do it even before running since it's not listed under things you can't do before running. forums.privateerpress.com/index.php?showtopic=104599

A free ability huh, I wonder how many of those are floating around this game.

There's a discussion up on the new terminology of Remix with regards to movement. For example, a number of spells have been defined from "movement" to "picking up and being placed". The easiest explanation of this is Lt. Caine's Flash ability. Which is now "model is picked up and placed...etc." The only real big consequence of this change is that Caine's ability no longer induces a free attack when leaving combat, because it is not defined as "movement" out of the melee range of an opponent. I fully expect this to get re-clarified to the other way. In a similar theme, Darius' Crane ability no longer provokes free strikes when removing a jack from combat either. forums.privateerpress.com/index.php?showtopic=105033 (Caine) forums.privateerpress.com/index.php?showtopic=104933 (Darius)

Most of the original text for "Placed" usually included a line about negating free strikes anyway, so no big changes there.
Another symantic change of note is the spell range of "caster" has been changed to "self". No different in practice, from what I can tell, just a new word.
Oh, and "autonomous" jacks (i.e., Jack marshal dies, leaves a wandering jack) can be re-activated by a Warcaster so the warcaster can allocate focus to them.

Here's one for Hordes:
Leaching fury - Can you only leach enough to fill the warlock up? or leach up to the warlock's fury 5.
Ex: My warlock has a Fury# of 5. During my control he starts with 2 fury from last turn and my beasts have 5 fury between them. Can I leach all 5 off? or can I only leach upto 3 fury since that would 'fill' my warlock's fury bucket.
I know I've asked a few people this but I just wanted to get a few more opinions. Damn, I just realized I should have asked the PP guy while I was talking to him.

from my understanding, i believe if you have focus at the begining of the turn if you have fury left over it goes away, im not sure on that.

You leach the amount of your fury stat so if it's 5 then you leach 5 a turn. Then anything over your fury stat goes away.

With the popularity of jack bonding, I wanted to point this out. Prime Remix states that you only lose a bond if the game ends with the jack disabled or wrecked. This means that Darius' feat - in addition to various Mechanics, can actually repair your jack midway through the game and you can preserve your bond. Likewise, there's at least that Legion of Everblight Caster that can heal his warbeasts. Something to think about if you get something bonded and you really do not want to lose it.
