PERKS OF MEMBERSHIP (5$ Membership):
Welcome to NIMGC! We are happy to have you among us for new friends and opponents. The club is pretty loose, meaning we all like to kick back and have a good time gaming or doing other things (drunken football at Josh's comes to mind, but I was just the sober guy taking incriminating pictures).
We have a few websites. Our main site is at WWW.NIMGC.ORG but we also have a Facebook site. Visit them freely.
The club meets every Thursday evening at 5:30pm in New Game In Town, located 811 W. Lincoln Hwy (Rt. 38), between Burger King and Mcdonalds. We have the whole of the lower portion with all of the gaming tables reserved for only club members. This, along with other little benefits, justifies the lifetime membership fee of $5. Once you're in, you're in. Unless you are so unruly we have to kick you out. Which doesn't happen because everyone's cool anyways.
At least half if not more of the total club members play Warmachine. It was a hit from the beginning, and there is a core of about 4-5 members that play it almost exclusively. A big chunk of us (well basically the other percentage) play Warhammer 40,000 more often than not, and are always up for a game. While a good number (roughly a dozen) have Warhammer Fantasy armies, it's more of a springtime thing for some reason, but just ask for a game and I'm sure someone will accept. Other less popular games include Battlefleet Gothic, Lord of the Rings SBG, and Mechwarrior. Only a few of us play those, but, like me, tend to be very happy to play them because they are rather fun games, especially BFG.
There are five executive members: They tend to wear official NIMGC shirts during events and meetings.
Other members will introduce themselves, or not, but in any case feel welcomed and join in the dice bashing!
- All payed members receive table priority at New Game in Town on thursday nights.
- Payed members get 20% off all club ran tournaments and events
- Free Members only tournaments
- Yearly Anniversary Party that is Members only (food, give aways, and special events)
