Crazy High Elves, thus far

So far this is what I have and what is assembled in ():

16 new spearmen (16)
16 new bowmen (6)
16 old spearmen (16 one piece models need to be glued to bases)
16 old bowmen (same as old bowmen above)
8 white helms (5 horses together...their a fuckin bitch...damn seams)

1 High Elf Mage (mounted and partially painted)
1 Hig Elf Archmage (put together and partially painted as well)

1 Eltharion on Stormwing Griffin (in disrepair...glue everywhere from whoever had it. Adam gave me two painted ones as well...no princes on them though so I can use whatever one I see fit lol)

1 Prince Tyrion on Malhandir (needs to be put together)

1 Teclis, the Loremaster (found the sword i needed at Adam's, fully painted by Adam.)

16 Sword masters of Hoeth (I found a few samurai minis of the right size through Adam that I am going to order to represent a unit of these. kool minis, had to mod one already) (16)

I plan to grab the special dragon unit eventually as well as some phoenix guard. (16)

2 bolt throwers (1 is fully assembled with crew. Other is pieces from adam with no crew. I'll need to mod it and grab some stuff from adam for crew.)

Keep in mind this isn't a list that will be playable, I know I can't run that many heroes and what not till I have more points. This is what I plan to get though.

Just to give you a heads up, Prince Tyrion on Malhandir is on a 50 mm base, which for the old model give you lots of room for a nice senic base

8 Silver helms (white helms?), Remember that Silver helms now count as special and not core

shooty armies (archers, seaguard, bolt throwers) and mages with the ability to choose curse and one book of hoth

Fast combat (Silver Helms, Dragon princes (nice for Prince Tyrion), and Lion Chariots)

Or large blocks of special (Phinix guard , Hoth, and some lions) with mages on foot, one lord with the book of hoth or and princes or SC in them

The new High elf lists are very versitle and in larger points you can take may combinations, making for some excellent stratagies and tatics

They're also all ASF cheaty-faces. How many points is that minus the characters, Delso? Looks like 2000+ with characters.

Whichever come in the battalion Randy...which I think are silver helms.

You saw the old model's I have...The one guy is on a normal horse base and the other is on a normal infantry base. I suppose I could get some bases and put him on something better. Unless I'm mistaken, don't have my models on hand...

I'm getting bored with painting the old infantry...possibly because the colors I chose. The greens I have aren't showing the best highlight...they are so bright they just kinda jump out at you. I am a very meticulous painter and I need to have it to my liking lol. I will post a pic when I get a chance and you all can critique.

Thanks for the ideas though Randy. I will be able to do a lot with this stuff!
