So I got my 'warning level' raised on the Privateer Press message boards for using the term 'limey' to refer to the makers of GW products, and for making fun of the over zealous employees at said company's outlet stores.

In a series of very serious (for some reason) messages between one of their forum moderators (who refers to himself as 'The Law' and takes his job as unnecessarily seriously as your average mall security guard), he explained that I made 'racist' comments and that it was not okay to make fun of the employees of another gaming community.

Srsly?

I posted in the "Crow's Nest" section (which is used for rants and other bitching), and my comments were secondary to an overall narrative about customer service trends in gaming stores in general.

I was just pissed and wanted to bitch about it, and I apparently can't do that on their boards, so fuck, I figured I would do it here.

I think this is all part of a larger narrative on the concept of 'free speech' and the internet, and how our first amendment rights have not evolved to apply to new technical and social advances. In related news, I just found out that cell phones are governed by the FCC by the same laws that govern radio broadcasts, meaning that it is an illegal and fine-able offense to swear on your cell phone. So yeah, how about that.

Hey I almost never ruin your fun on here in fact most of the time I agree with you. I just dont want any said whiney people on here complaining about what people are saying.
