Looks pretty good
Command for 5 Silver Helms?
If used right Teclis can be a one man army but your list still maybee a little Character Shy.
Have you played it yet?

*casts Raise Dead on the thread*
Full command + Light Armor for ten archers? I would think that the other units in your army will draw more missiles. I'm also questioning the 20 swordmasters. With the banner you can put them in terrain where they can't be hurt by missile fire, which mitigates the need for a high model count.

I was just filling points with the archers.
I dunno bout the SM I really like them so I suppose I could just split it to two squads.

I honestly never do anything other than a champion for archer units, so no banner or musician even when trying to fill points. They're not really worth it to me and shouldn't ever be necessary. If the archers are in combat, they're already dead. Of course, mine are peasants, so...
Besides, you want more points so you can get more swordmasters! 15-20 is good for sticking around in combat because of the extra bodies, rank bonuses, etc.

I would say skip the champion in the unit of archers and go musician. Thats what I usually do with small-medium sized shooting units.

I haven't played in ages...the champ just has an extra attack or something right? The musician is for what?

The Musician turns a tie in the combat resolution into your win. If you both have Musicians, the combat either automatically continues into the next turn or you roll off or something; I might be confusing instances when two models/units have the Always Strikes First rule?

I remember the breaking tie thing, but I thought there was something else.

There probably is; perhaps having to do with Rallying? I know unit Champions are the ones who always get to attack unless the whole unit dies or something.

champs either get +1 bs with bows or +1 a normally, musicians give you +1 combat res if its a tie and +1 ld on rally attempts, standard beares give you +1 combat res and our worth 100 vps if captured. that said..its really only worth it to take a musician in archers, its just a free 100 vps for you're opponent when he undoubtedly ruins you in close combat

What Rios said. Rallying and ties is what the musician is for. Plus it makes the flee option more viable for low leadership shooty units...you flee thus resulting in a hopefully failed charge for your enemies and then if you planned well get a flank charge or just live to shoot later in the game.

That makes a good amount of sense. I will adjust the list accordingly in a day or so. Kinda late now and I need to sleep for work.

As far as the SMs go, if you want to keep that unit of 20 I'd suggest going with ranks of 7/7/6 instead of 5/5/5/5. Assuming you have a champion that gives you 15 WS 6 S 5 attacks. The loss of a rank shouldn't matter too much, as anything that has more ranks than you is (probably) something the SMs can simply carve to tiny pieces.
