it seemed a bit one-sided (most of the chaos cult troops didn't even move from their base and an entire ork infantry army never got to see action due to the redeploy to the opposite table edge dealy) while most of the other team (mine) was wiped out, but over-all still fun and a lot of cool 'oh shit' and 'wow' moments all around.
the ones that stick out in my memory/the ones i actually noticed in particular was that titan blowing up and wiping out half my and the other tau player's army turn 1.
My 3 Crisis suits totally whiffed in deep striking into the enemy rear only managing to shake a bane blade's battle canon for 1 turn.
This is worth mentioning, really: two of my crisis suits got placed by the opposite team onto the edge of the board in some ruins. on their turn, a single crisis suit survived being shot at by a unit of 20+ grots, a full squad of space marines w/ plasma, a ork boy shoota unit and a full broadside from a bane blade losing only 2/3 wounds. These two crisis suits then went on to survive the game (to the best of my knowledge, nobody asked for me to roll die on the last turn) hiding behind tanks/melee combats. in the process, they shot down 4 death koptas, a war buggy, several orks, an ork warbiker and one crisis suit bitch slapped an ork nob biker in melee... over-all i've never passed so many armor/4+ cover saves in my life and probably never will again.
On a side note, was I the only player on the "Space Marine" team playing for objectives? the right side of the board was kinda lonely with only my 3 fire warrior squads vs. a bigger ork army
. oh well, they died gloriously AND I got to use my flechette dischargers ^_^. hehe silly orks.

, oh wellz. btw how did ork trucks move 48" on roads on that one turn??? that's what lost me the objective. oh at least my fire warriors downed your keeper of secrets ^_^.
