Thats what I really meant like Frizzell stated. Its just we can't tell them to not be down there any more really. Anyways, I will talk to my boss about leaving a bit earlier that day so i can be there sooner than usual, meaning hopefully by 5...I hope you all realize I'm taking a hit on my paycheck already to get there by 6. I usually end up working til about 6:15 on any other day unless shipping is slow and we end up all leaving early.

Actually miniatures have priority on tables so yes if we need the space we can ask them to move......
So if at all possible can I have a list of people that plan on attending what armies they are and their partner that would be swell.
Oh adam I would like to run a warmachine/hordes tournament for club members only, give me the amount of people willing to play in it and we can think of doing one.

I don't remember john ever saying we had priority. Might want to ask him Ian.
Anyways, I'm partnering with Dubs.

Yay for technical double post! So I really enjoyed the tournament, at least so far as seeing tons of new faces. I'm happy the club is surviving well.
Unfortunately, my run of bad luck this week kept right on going through the tournament, compounded by the fact that Lady Luck was with everyone else. Let's have some examples, eh?
Cover saves/Invulnerable saves passed: Opponents: 85% Me: 1% (I failed all but one)
Lascannons hit: 30% (shouldn't that be at least 66% by the math?)
2+ armor saves passed: 50% (and that should be 83%)
Percentage of times my defiler would have won us the game by assaulting, but got immobilized and its cannon blown off at the same critical time: 100%
*sigh* At least I won't say something dumb like "the table messed up my dice." It simply wasn't my day. Or week. Hence why my club shirt says "Blame it on the dice." I can't wait to be back in the area though and start gamin' with all of the new folks!

Of course not. Who do you think doesn't post the full tournament rules and questions asked online anyway... =P

Believe it or not Andrew we both had a run of terrible luck; My crisis suits missed the vast majority of their shots throughout 3 games (most in the first 2; 4 crisis suits all missed with 5 shots each for 2 turns in a row in that first game). Oh well I had fun, and sorry for immobilizing/castrating your defiler, it just had to be done. I also killed a greater daemon with a single burst canon sponson from a immobilized and castrated hammerhead and inflicted the last two wounds with three shots after 2 leman russ's rolled two 1's to wound it ^_^. Let's do this again I like team games all the matches were very very close. Strangely Carl and I won all of our games massively in VP's, oh well. My army surprisingly only like ever lost 200 VP's in one game at worst, then 50 in one game, then maybe 100 in the other with Andrew... Carl's poor guardsman never had more than 200-ish VP's left after every battle *sadness*. I would agree on the matter of luck... my Devilfish somehow managed to make ALL of their disruption pod saves vs. your guys... that was wow. and they ultimately didn't do much though lol, pansy fire warriors too frightened to jump outa their fish... which in retrospect i should've done in the 7th turn of our final 3rd game, but didn't see the point once that invincible Predator managed to survive my hammerhead. Actually in retrospect I only rolled for 1 of 2 glancing hits that got a "1" and I forgot to roll the second , yar'gh.

Great games, everyone! This was another really fun tournament!
For our shirts, we'd like XL ringer T's, grey/navy, with this on the back, centered:
"Better lucky than good." 1st Place, NIMGC 40k Doubles 11.13.08
Thanks for another very well-run tournament! -John B.

Since Ian has yet to post the darn results...and order the shirts. I will get the shirts myself.
Josh has let me know that we get 20% of the money earned back from the tee shirts you buy! So, order new shirts! lol
I will grab those 1st place shirts tonight and they should be here by the time school starts again.
