I'll be able to field a 2,300 point Ogre Army (2 battalion boxes and a box of iron guts for commanders which makes $220) due primarily to cost reasons I need to make it as cheap $ as possible so no 3,000 point Army  ... Thanks to GW though for offering batallion boxes. I could probably have it ordered by sometime this week, so definatly time to get it assembled by the 29th if all goes to plan. Convenient thing about Terminator-esque style armies is that they're not exactly model intensive ^_^. |

Once I finish pinning the blasted Steed of Slaanesh together, I'll have 2130 pts. .... Sorry about taking so long to get to this. I had to dig my box of Chaos out from under a few things.

I just came upon a buncha free old fantasy crap. I pulled all the high elves stuff and from it I gained another full squad of spears and bows and a prince on a griffin and Techlis. So that should boost my points quite well. Needs to add em up.

Ok guys bad news I'm going to have to push this back till possibly the fall semester.
I just have not had the time to do the rules and I might not be able to make it to every thursday so that would be unfair to people who have made the time and effort to make it every thursday.
Hopefully I will be able to make time but I have to start working on thursdays to make ends meat and I have summer school coming up soon.

Dude, seriously? We re-wrote most of the rules over the course of a single evening at work, how did you not have time to redo this? I told you I would help you out if you needed it. Fuck balls.

couldn't we just work it out as a group (aka the people actually here) and give it a go? Heck I re-wrote a ton of 40K rules in an evening and after play-testing they're a heck of a lot more fun, this isn't terribly time intensive stuff to tinker with rules. oh well  |

Ok first off I said there were two reasons I couldn't do it the time for the club and the rules hey if you want to go ahead and rewrite the campaign rules thats fine. But the mighty empire box set isn't getting used unless im there since it is a 40$ investment.
Also adam there are some holes in our quick fixes we made. We only actually went over the territories and the empire composition. We didn't go into how the table top game would affect the tokens on the board all that indepth.
And the tax system we figured out still needs alot of tooling im not sure what we came up with is all that balanced, and the racial rules we came up with were rather unbalanced especially the undead one.
I still need to go through all the different movement charts and figure out how to change them since we are doing nothing with NPC empires. Also I think the movement system that the old game uses needs to change they have way too many different charts but they are still necessary for how everything fits together.
There is alot of other work that needs to be done too but I do not have the rules on me right now. There are about 60 pages of rules that need to be changed and yes I want to simplify them but to do that and still make the game fair and fun is difficult.
