I'm not paying too close attention to that organization bit yet, but next time I will. I did only have one jumbo tank...and it got popped too easily for my liking, oh well...

Opps... my bad . I guess that I assumed that both of the 76mm tanks were the same. Ok, hey and I also realized something I did wrong, I was using the Panthers MG34's as 42's and cranking out an extra round per turn because of it . I will definitely be more careful about that in the future. I knew they never stuck a MG42 in a hull mount but got caught up in the MG42 madness ;D after un-downgrading my grenadiers back to good old MG42's. Also, I don't think I will be here this weekend or the weekend after that, I'll let you know Thursday if anything changes.

Btw if either Carl or Andrew are interested I actually stumbled upon a couple boxes of Forces of Valor 1/72 minis at Target so I could probably field a playable force. Half were American, so you might want to check their Andrew if you want a quick expansion or something. In total I think I got barely 12 infantry, but got a Half Track and a King Tiger. The paint looks pretty thin too, so at least I should be able to paint over the Tiger; which is base coated and doesn't even have the camo like the Half Track lol.
So that would mean in total I have like: two small infantry squads half track King Tiger Tiger Panther 2 x Marder self-propelled guns

I might be interested this Thursday (19th). I got the stummel but not any backup half-tracks, I'm going to wait until Italeri comes out with a fast assemble kit for the 251's to keep the total price for the group around $30 . I still need to assemble the stummel, maybe in two or so weeks I can show it to you. I guess we would not have to strictly use the established force organization system, as long as all players are aware of the situation and agree to it, after all, we are just playing friendly games at the moment.

I agree fully; I don't think I could field two legal infantry squads at the moment anyway...
It's just friendly games, let's have fun with our mini tanks that are even more mini than in 40K.
My KongsTiger will destroy you all ;D

Alright, well lets have a tank battle this Thursday so games stay nice and short. hmm...maximum of 1500 points, all have to be tanks, no restrictions on the FO (force organization).

Hey, just a suggestion, if we could meet before the club meeting actually starts, say 3:00 or 3:30 whatever, we might possibly be able to do a larger game, just a suggestion. If not I am still game to do a 1500 pt battle, time for useless or highly situational upgrades . Poor Panthers, don't get any super-cool upgrades , other than ambush camouflage ;D.

Well yea we can meet up around that time; more tank battles = better! We got through our last game in like 4 hours, remember. Sure we'll get faster, but now throw Tom in the mix and we are reduced to slow again until we all work up to speed.

Ok, I was kind of figuring one larger tank battle with maybe only 20 or so infantry per side to keep the organizational end of things simple. Well, I figured it could take two or three hours thats why I suggested earlier. I'll see you there on Thursday, threeish.

Hey, its Monday and I got the Stummel assembled and painted to a fairly decent level, I would be very interested in doing a game early on Thursday or maybe on the weekend, I think I'll be here this weekend. I would be interested in doing a tank centered battle which we could use to fully familiarize Tom with the rules as we understand them so far.

Ok, I should be there, I do have an appointment earlier in the day, put that is in the morning, so it should not be much of a problem. Oh, and I accepted you on Company of Heroes!

Wasn't sure where to post this update as we do not have a gaming section for BFG meet ups, but it turns out that my Chinese Professor is AWOL tomorrow therefore, if necessary, I can show up at OBG earlier than 3:30 pm this Friday. I might show up earlier in the afternoon regardless to get some painting/assembling done before I begin the long weekend haul of writing up two mid-term papers and studying for a third.

okey dokey; at best I might be there around 1 PM, and if not I'll be there between then and 3:30 pm as it'll depend on my willingness to catch a full nights sleep.
