...but I don't know who to play.
Can anyone give me short descriptions of how each army works? So far, all I know is that Orboros is right out (I don't do nature / druids / etc in any game, just not my thing).
Trolls look cool. Skorne look cool, but their frog/warbeast things look silly as hell. Legion of Everblight is a slight forerunner just because they're huge and angry looking dragonspawn.
Anyone have any suggestions to help me narrow down my new army?

i think skorne would be pretty cool for you...they're a pretty round about army and although the lizard things look pretty bad i think you would like them...(i have to admit that i am being a jerk and leading you away from legion because i wanna do them  ) |

lol i have legions and its a pretty good army, the dragon spawns do look awsome, but they are sort of hard to paint. i would also suggest looking at rules and find the army that the rules fit your style. Most of everblights ablities are designed to destroy infantry. You will find that the larger dragons spawns die pretty quick because they have low defense and the armour doesnt make up for it, so they need the charge or they wont survive to do much else.

Skorne DO look cool. But those large Frog things are just...silly as hell.
So far I am down to Skorne and Trolls followed by Legion.
I think Trolls could be really cool since they're all about raw power, which is what Cygnar is kind of short on.

Yeah, I agree. The skorne frog light warbeasts look totally dumb. That being said I just got some in stock! yeah.. I guess I chould see if they're useful at all.
Skorne are ok, but kinda frail. deffinatly a finesse army. Ingersall seems to be doing well with Trollbloods.

That's becasue he's a powergaming cheesemonger who cares about winning way more than having fun. And yes, I can say that since I've been friends with him since 2nd grade and he's my roomate.
To tell you the truth, warbeasts in general seem more frail. They for the most part can take less damage than jacks and have lower armor. The fact that they have a bit more defense can be easily negated.
You know, if you wouldn't mind waiting, maybe you could jsut wait till Evolution came out or jsut to see preview of things in it so you can get a better feel for each faction before you decide?

I think I'll be waiting for a while. I have that entire merc army group to put together and then all my Cygnar crap to paint.
I just finished inking my Charger - it's way too dark now though, will need to be dry brushed back up to a brighter tone.
