IAN! Where are the rules you were gonna post? I don't know what any of this means!
Should we start building new banners?

All rules will be posted in the mighty empires thread I just made in the tournament and events sections. I wanted to have the first post so I can keep on updating it since I do not have admin capabilities on this specific thread I cannot merge and add stuff to it so I simply moved it. From now on andrew e-mail me your awesome altered pics to me at irogerso@gmail.com.

I can also add them in myself for simplicity's sake. Like the song goes, "I got the power!"

Well I was thinking of putting the pics on the opening post as a weekly update type of thing, you know use new ones to replace the old ones. we will talk more about this this thrusday. Also everyone read the mighty empires thread in the events/tournament section I have posted the rules and an update, I would like to start at 6 this week if that is possible instead of 7:30, let me know if this is not possible.

So given the membership list hasn't been updated, am I to assume that the acknowledgment I was given the first meeting of the semester about my desire to participate with my Fantasy Ogres is no longer valid? I haven't read a post where this has been addressed yet.

As far as I know, they never knew you wanted in. They didn't even know I wanted in.
@ Ian: This is also an update thread. It can work just fine here, with rules posted there and discussion here. Either way we'll talk more.

Ah yes I think that its a good idea that this is used for a disscusion forum for the game. But I would still like to have a updated map picture each week on the main page(I will also start a history blog for this).

Oi', that sucks, I'm awful with names but in this case it's cause I don't normally play with the guy; but I specifically stated I wanted to participate and I was asked because he wasn't sure at the time (I'll know who this Thursday). I believe he plays The Empire in Fantasy?
I assume I cannot participate then?

Right. Next campaign you'll be able to get in on; make sure the organizers know! What you're referring to was last fall I believe.

Nope; first Thursday meeting of the Spring semester. Btw, why can room not be made? I kind of have an Ogres army sitting around doing nothing with no incentive to finish my conversions without any games to do for it. Honestly, it doesn't strike me as too difficult to throw one more person in...

You probably cant be added in cause as the above map shows it is already pretty crowded. If they did let you join now you would be behind and would probably be destroyed early in the map campaign.
That is probably why...having participated in our map campaigns before...a slow or late start is basically a nail in the coffin in these things.
Wait for the next one, they are much more enjoyable from the start.

This is all just testing his new rules anyway. Ian wants to hold "the real deal" in the fall, I believe.
Also, if I'm reading this right, Ian does the new season allow me to place my armies anywhere in my empire? Cause I gots a cunnin' plan...

Ya sorry tom by the time I had asked you we aleady had 8 people which is actually way more than I wanted, I would have rather to have 4-6 players.
@andrew- yes you are reading them correctly the last phase of the winter season is to place your banners anywhere in your empire that you can snake through.

LOLZ, the March White Dwarf came out with better tables and rules than you did for character advancement in Mighty Empires. Heh, give it a look, maybe we should use that next time instead...

Um ya I dont read white dwarf at all. If you could bring them to next meeting I will give them a gander, these rules were kinda of thrown together and it was a collaboration between rios and myself.
Not saying they are the best but I didn't want characters to be the focus of the campaign I really wanted the map itself to be the focus with the strategic placement of armies, castles and distribution of forces being serious strategic elements.
