I'm not sure if anyone posted about this yet, so stop me if I am just behind the game, but there has been talk of starting a small Fantasy campaign. I don't know if we will be ready by this meeting, but if you have any interest in playing, post here! I have extra points of Vampire Counts that Calem might be playing with, and I also have an unused Slannesh chaos army if anyone wants to give it a shot.
If we can't get a campaign going this week, is anyone up for a 2000 point Fantasy game? Let it be known...

We need time good sir to set up such a campaign. Maybe. Depends on how we want things to run is all. I myself am doing 1200 vs Josh. Perhaps in a week or two it can be started, or another time.

Wow, I didn't think this would be such a big deal... Josh and I talked this weekend about putting together a small campaign for the guys who did have their shit together. Nobody needs to feel like they are being left out if they cannot participate, it would just be a forum for all of the guys who are 40K'ed out to play a small series of fantasy games. It's not like we won't have one next semester too...
And yes, I would love to play your High Elves. 2000 points it is.

it really wouldn't be considered a campaign if only 3 people are playing then. i thought you meant the big campaign where everyone joins in, that's why I was saying that it would be better for next semester so everyone can get their stuff together. not throwing assumptions about people being left out either, everyone is basically playing what they have put together, so there's enough games for everyone to go around if they want to play.

We will be running a small campaign this semester, like Adam H. said, for people who are 40Ked out. There will also be a bigger one next semester for others who as of yet do not have their army. This was basically just something to do other than play 40K. Plus I want to get a mini-campaing going this semester so when we do the bigger one next year we have this one under our belt for ideas.
Another comment---no more arguing, come on people we are all freinds here. I am just tired of the whole arguing thing. No one is going to be left out of anything. So far everyone has been able to enjoy a place to meet and game together (which is the point of the club). Gaming should not be an arena for arguments. I am not asking you to agree with me...but stop the hostilities.
So to summarize this post. We are having a mini-campaign this semester...for people who dont want to play 40K. We will also have another larger campaign next semester. Starting more than likely in late February. This gives everybody plenty of warning to get their shit together(including myself). Try to be able to field a max list of 1500pts for the campaign next semester. Also the arguing on the Web boards will stop now. I am not saying that there is not room for debate or disagreement but not on the boards(unless it is relevant to the post ex. Lets Debate Which army has the coolest models in WH?). No more arguing. We are a friendly group lets keep it that way. Hugs all around minus you Delso, cause you are a vagina...just kidding you can have one too (and i know u want one you skank).

Also another note for the mini-campaign we can start it this week with some simple dice rolling at the beginning of the meeting. We shall see otherwise it will start next week.
