Im going through withdrawal from not playing fantasy. I want to do an escalation mini-league. so far:
- 4 Weeks
-Week 1: 500 pt (War bands)
-Week 2: 1000 pt
-Week 3: 1500 pt
-Week 4: 2000 pt
I'm not sure that everyone can go past 2000 points, if we can then i wouldn't mind extending it. We can put in like $5 and the winner gets it or something. Let me know what you think.

Lets do this shit, we should probably discuss this in a bit more details.
Entry fee? rios said like 5 but we didn't do anything for fantasy this semester could make this a members freebee.
Pts and such? I like rios escalation idea, good to go.
Proxies? Probably not but we could discuss this, we might have to make it W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G which is not that big of a deal in fantasy.
Rios, andrew and delso will probably be the most involved in this so we can discuss this at the next exec board meeting.

If I wanted to use my Chaos (which I might wanna) I don't have much more than 1000 points...but a good story involving "counts-as" models I can whip up to bulk out my army, if allowed.

I figure since a good number of us don't have huge armys like some people COUGH...IAN! That proxies should be allowed. As long as you can explain what they are to your opponent and maybe have a way of marking unit attachments. It should be fine. You pay with points for those units either way.
June is fine as long as its not on like saturdays (27th as previously stated in other posts).

i'm fine with proxies as well...if we go bigger points thats no problem i'll need to for my wood elves. Oh and no special characters until 2,000 i should think to make it fair.

If you want you can play me; It be a good learning experience seeing as I don't even own the main rule book, but I remember the basics of movement and melee. Ogres are pretty simple anyway.

Well if we are cool with proxies then I will be playing my orcs and goblins in this bad boy, I find my empire to be more of a competitive army and orcs and goblins are just funny as hell.
So no one has commented on prizes. Do we want prize support or what?

Since shit happened and we missed most of this I would like to restart it probably in September so we will have more people and more time to do it (and I wont get hit by a car  ). Either that or someone come up with something better for Fantasy. |
