Question...how did the points come out to decimals?
Yay, lucky 13th place! Did much worse this year than last...top 30% last time, top 54% this time ;-). I guess soft scores made up for it though...as only 11 of my 76.7 points were from my single win! Bad, bad dice...who miscasts twice on the same turn?!?! Other than skaven, I mean...
My reflections...only 4 of the 23 armies were "good" armies (Jeff's army [not at all painted by him, mind you...] was actually O&G but Bretonnian themed). Perhaps the evil armybooks are far more powerful right now, or at least for your scenarioes or this points level?
On the scorecards...I wasn't too much a fan of the sportsman card. The majority of the questions were good (for the scoring system) and fit well, but the first two didn't. In both cases, each person did exactly the same, so I had to give a score based on my enjoyment of the game instead of what the question asks. The second question especially is completely objective: did they bring the rules, dice, templates, etc? I can understand that some might not, but I didn't see a single person without their materials. I think it might work better as a simple checklist item, resulting in a single extra point for everybody if they bring it. So instead of a max of 15 points, it'd be 13.
Otherwise, we already talked about the scenarioes and army list suggestions. If I were to add anything however, it'd be to maybe include those winter rules from GW. Those can have just as much of an effect on army composition as making changes to the options do.
