Okay, here are the basics for the Spring Fantasy Campaign. Josh and I will be running it, and it will take place both online and at club meetings. I will post detailed rules/ fluff after I get a good headcount for all the players. Here are the basics-
We will be playing a map-based campaign based on the Border Princes scenario printed in the General's Compendium.
Banners will be 1000 points each, each player starting with one banner at a set map position, and accruing one additional banner for every three territories they claim (rules to follow shortly).
Campaign length is yet to be determined.
Movement orders will be sent to me (popg0estheworld) between meetings (from Friday to Thursday) via personal message on the website. To keep it fair, Josh and I will be the first to write our movement orders every meeting for the following week (on paper) so integrity is not questionable. Everyone elses movement orders must be made before noon on Thursdays, otherwise your banners will 'Hold.'
Battles resulting from the weeks movements can be resolved either at the weekly meeting (preferably) or outside of the meeting, in the event your opponent can't make it. Any battles unresolved by the next meeting will be conceded by the absent party.
We will open up two threads for the campaign, one listing official Campaign material (weekly maps, etc.) and one for chat about the campaign.
We should have enough terrain available to accurately represent, on table, the terrain for each given map section. If you will be able to bring terrain, please do so, and let us know what you have.
So, with that said, everybody post here if you plan to play. The best start locations will be allotted to the first six or seven who sign up, so let us know early. Also, post what army you will be playing so we can generate race appropriate start locations.
I will be playing a Slaanesh Horde, primarily Beasts of Chaos.
