Circle of Orboros Army

Seeing as I haven't painted in ages, and we are trying to get this campaign going...and in honor of MK2 hordes...I figured I should dust off the brushes and get going again.

Here is my totem hunter three views. Some details are done on the armor...but most everything else is a base coat. I love this model...

I tried the best I could, Jess has a new camera as most of you noticed last week. So I tried using it and then edited them using GIMP (free GNU pic editor). The contrast really brought out the details.

His skin is only the base coat. I'm either going a lighter grey or shading into a rotting flesh color. Armor will be highlighted. Skulls will be shaded and highlighted up to bone color. Base will have snow, as will the rest of my army.

PLEASE CRITIQUE!

I also worked on fixing my arugses cause they were chipped. Anything wolf in the army will look more like a huskie or timberwolf to continue the snow theme. If you have seen mine, they all follow the scaley green/silver armor...I think the colors work well together and with the snow.

I will probably just work on my 35 pts so its presentable. I will probably use the epic kaya as my caster...or kromac cause they made him better in MK2. All beasties would look sweet. I need to pic up a box of wolves of orboros or reeves...or the beast troops (cant remember the names).

Nah, that's not true. It's more on a forum, I've seen like anywhere from 50 up views before a post, and then sometimes it's just "first!!!"
It's a nice model, it's just a little tough to see them now.

They are clickable thumbnails guys. Digital cameras take huge photos...and I didn't feel like shrinking them. So I linked them through photobucket as clickable thumbs.

I would really like some critiquing. I know I am no where near as good as Adam...but I like to know what people think.

Keep in mind this model is barely halfway done.

I like your paint job Delso. That looks good and I cant wait to see it finished. I think the lighter gray would look good...not sure about the rotting flesh...

I just dont like the totem hunter model...

Yea I am thinking the light grey would go very well with the snow look. Would make him seem like he would sorta blend into the environment.

I like the model...although I would like an alternate sculpt if and when I chose to grab another one.

I am still figuring out Jess' camera. I won't have time to paint this week with family parties and xmas...so I will be looking to work more on him and my argusi lol next week.
