Adepticon Warmachine/Hordes 2-man

Is anyone thinking of taking part in this? More importantly is anyone looking for a partner? ;D It looks interesting.

I know I am also thinking of doing one or both of the overnight 35 pt tourneys.

I'll definitely look into the events for this. Be nice to finally do a big tourney.

There are three WM/Hordes Tourneys. Two 35 pointers starting late Friday and running till Saturday and then a repeat on Saturday late and running till Sunday. The 2-man is on Saturday and is 100 pts (two 50 pt. armies). Top four finishers in all tourneys can play in Sunday's "Championship".

Hmmm...I am definitely interested. Whats the date on this...lol i know I could just look at the other post, but I am at work and I am lazy.

I would have to paint up one of my armies depending on who I partner with.

heh... I know the feeling. Adepticon weekend is March 26-28 with the two man tourney happening on Saturday the 27.

ooo thats close. Let me try and build a Magnus list with what I have, and an Orboros List with what I have and then see what I would need to by to fill to 50 points.

I know the feeling. I have 35 points easy for Khador but bulking out to 50 may be pricy dollar wise if I want to do my fun list and not so terrible if I bulk out my 35 points.

Trying to decide if I did the team if I should go with Sorcha or Vlad...

I could fill out either list with the addition of no more than 3 models I think. I just need to paint...and I don't know if I see that getting done lol.

I have a question, do you have to follow the rules for compatibility for the teams? Such as only menoth and menoth friendly mercs can work together?

not sure... I will have to read the rules for the event again. I would hope not but... well... who knows.

Okay I did a little checking and this was posted on the Adepticon fourm regarding the team tourney for Warhmachine/Hordes regarding different factions:

"They do not need to be same faction, but they will not be considered "friendly faction" unless they are the same."

So for the Warmachine/Hordes team tournament, do teams have to be from the same faction?

How do game effects (like spells, feats, etc.) work with regard to your teammate? Are they faction models or friendly models or something that is neither friendly or enemy.

Teams do not have to be from the same faction.

All rules will work exactly as they are written on the cards - different factions will not be considered "friendly faction"

But they are not "enemy models" either, right? so say a feat that causes damages to enemies doesn't effect a teammate?

Just registered for the 2-Man Tourney at Adepticon last night. Jason and I will be running a Khador/Cryx list... not very fluffy but should be interesting. looked like there were 15 slots left as of last night.
