OK so! i have been talking with some people but i thought i would get the opinions of anyone who wanted to give it. I'm trying to make a fun but still good tau list so here goes
HQ
Shas'el with twin-linked flamers and an Air Bursting Fragmentation Projector - 81 points (i hate xv8 suits)
Troops
3 squads of six firewarriors in devilfish, the fish have disruption pods and flechette discharger's - 465 points
1 squad of 10 kroot with 3 kroot hounds
Elites
1 squad of 6 stealth suits, two with meltas and target array, the rest with burst cannons and target locks. (if you give an upgrade to any of them they all have to take one)
Fast attack
NONE! OMG!
Heavy Support
1 squad of 3 broadsides with multi-tracker
3 squads of sniper drone teams (now that i own three i will ALWAYS use three.... mmmmm stealthy)
1 hammerhead with railgun, burst cannons, multi tracker, flechette discharger's, and disruption pods.
anyway, I'm sure this army will suck cause no matter what i do kroot never work for me.... EVER! its like a curse... if i need them on turn 3 they are out on 4, if i need them to go on the left side you better damn well believe that they go to the right side.... the one and only time kroot has ever worked for me is when frizz was pretending to be a noob and was nice enough to put an objective right next to the table edge in some woods.... that was nice of him if you ask me.
so give me your thoughts and suggestions, i have awhile to try play testing before i need to have a final product. Also if you are interested in playing this army holla at me!
target lock on hammerhead was taken off and broadsides are all multi tracker now.
army point total is 1498.
