I own a bare bones force of Retribution and have played them in multiple games from 15 pts to 35 pts. I love their fluff and a lot of their models really appeal to me. The biggest problem I have been having is figuring out how they play. There is just some disconnect in my mind when I theory out a list and when I field said list on the table. I'm just looking for anybody to explain what they think Retribution's play-style is based off actually either playing them or facing them.

In my limited experience facing the Retribution, the biggest threats they pose are their insane solos and their synergistic infantry. The Myrmadon 'jacks weren't that threatening, but the Infantry was capable of tearing ANYTHING apart. Plus, your ape-shit Mage Hunter solos are just insanely good. Great site. Was using it to center my Merc and Orboros lists.
I thought my Retribution list was straightforward. I run the Vyros tiered list. Walk up and smack things...set jacks with your troops to give them bonuses.
