Well after talking with Bear I can officially annouce that the store will be running a Steamroller tourney on Saturday, May 1st at New Game In Town in Dekalb. Cost will be $10 per person (we are going to get the trophy prize pack) and sign in will be 12:15 to 1:00 with dice dropping at 1:01.
I am figuring on a minumum of three rounds but if we get 10 people again we will run four so as to avoid ties.
Format will be Steamroller 2010 rules and will use various senarios from the Steamroller pack.
More details to follow here so stay tuned...

Just a quick question as I'm hoping to use my time in april to paint up the models for this. What is the point level for this event and its two list format right?

Sorry for the delay in getting an answer back... I blame it on pots Adepticon lounging all day.
We will go with 35 point armies so that no one has a problem of too few figures.
One list is all that is needed but you can do two lists and choose which one to use prior to your individual matches. Second list may be different warcaster/warlock but all lists must be of the same agenda.
hope this helps!

Just a reminder that Saturday is the 35 pt. Steamroller Tourney.
The trophy prize pack should be in and I will verify that tonight. I hope to see everyone there! Just a reminder sign in will be from 12:15 to 1:00 with dice dropping at 1:01!

Thanks. Gimme a jingle in the morning- I definitely won't have the car, and my rear tire on my bike blew today too.

Thanks for everyone who came out. With the great trophy prize pack we had I was hoping to have more numbers but maybe next time. Anyway of the five the results are: Brian (Menoth) 1st place Jason C. (Cryx) 2nd Place Rios (Legion) 3rd place Steve (Trollbloods) 4th place Adam (Cryx) 5th place I as the bye played and amazingly lost all matches! Anyway, I will post when we decide on a new date for our next event. I believe the next League event will start in June...

Fuckin' strength of schedule... foiled again.
Because of ONE dice roll, I went from potentially winning first place to last place. One dice roll. Deathjack, you failed me in a big way.

Sad to see not a lot of people but I bet it was still a good time. I hope to eventually make it up for another tournament eventually. Congrats to the winners.

I would have been there but I spent Saturday moving some of my stuff (including my minis) out of my dorm to make move-out day less crazy. In general I think holding it the weekend before finals led to fewer people showing up as they had exams to study for and papers to write. I'll definitely try to make the next one, if nothing else to collect the Cygnar coin
