I just finished painting Strakhov and Beast 09 (the latter a few days ago). They are going to be part of my Gencon entry for Battle group, which when finished will consist of Strakhov, Beast 09, a Devestator, and a War Dog converted specially for Strakhov (pictures to follow soon). Anyway, here he is- Sorry his knife is out of focus there. The premise of the base, which I hope conveys the story itself, is that Strakhov is following up into an enemy trench, presumably after having just slit some trencher throat (hence the blood spatter and pool) And Beast, whom most of you have already seen... I basically tried to make him look as close to the picture from the book as possible, though I went with no snow to stick with my theme and tweaked the colors a little too. I'll post more pics as I finish junk.

Awesome adam. Are you gonna clean up his base? I see some like copper dry brush on it. Or is it meant to be like that.

I think that is just reflection from my light. I've had that happen a few times in my pic. In reality, the base is all black. Thanks for looking' out, though- that is the kind of stuff I don't want to overlook.
