Mighty Empires - Spring Session

Well we have just started the Mighty Empires campaign. This is my 3rd time running this bad mother. We have 5 people playing in this campaign:

Andrew - Chaos (Red)
Sean - Beastmen (Purple)
Bryan - Dwarfs (Grey)
Mike - Lizardmen (Green)
Ian - Empire (Blue)

Yellow is Neutral territory

We finished our first season with no conflict. Our first turn of the second season began with Andrew invading Bryan. This battle was a slaughter with Andrew outnumber him 2-1 but the valiant dwarfs did manage to inflict some casualties. But the bulk of Brian's forces have not been touched, the tricky Dwarf has the largest armies and the wealthiest Empire, so this will be no cake walk for the seasoned chaos player.

An impromptu alliance formed by Sean and Andrew has everyone else feeling nervous. Ian is right next to Sean and is preparing for the inevitable invasion, but is wary of the Lizardmen to his North.

Mike appears to be making no outward aggresive moves but his armies are near the borders of the dwarfs and the Empire.

What will happen to this frail grouping of empires no one knows!!

Season 2 has just concluded.

Bryan's drwarves have been pushed into a corner by the furious onslaught of Andrew's chaos. Smelling blood in the water Rios's Lizardmen started to attack the Dwraves from the opposite side, taking 3 territories with only one conflict that left the Dwarves crippled.

The Empire heard the pleas of the Dwarves and launched an assault against the Lizardmen taking 3 territories and defeating one of their armies in the process. All along Sean's beastmen have taken the neutral territories in the center and have made no outward aggressive moves against any of the other nations. It is now winter and all of the nations have consolidated their forces and await the defrosting of the impending spring.

So bad news again we had to end the campaign early because we couldn't met tonight and next week is out of the question cuz of finals and sean is leaving town soon so we are ending this session but because this ran so well we will be running another one this summer.
