Having been away from the hobby for a while now, I decided to poke around the internet and see what other people are doing with Blood Angels. What they're fielding, how they're using the army...
I was kinda dismayed to find a whole lot of "I want to dominate every game, is this a good list?" or "Well, while that's fluffy, everyone is running anti-mech lists..."
Does anyone out there play for fun anymore?

A lot of people are doing either Dante or Mephiston orientated lists. I personally am running in a 1500 point game dante, sanguinary guard, 2 priest, two assault squads, land speeder, vindicator, and Furioso Librarian. It does pretty well, even though the model count is pretty damn low.

I keep being tempted by an Astorath based Death Company list. Screw objectives, I want to kill everything!
Though it seems to be really easy to have a really fast assault army too... ah, too many choices.

We all do! We don't bring our tournament lists (well, Friz does) to all regular games. Fun games are fun! Let's play Cities of Death on Thursday Ian.

Hey now, my fun lists became my tournament lists, not the other way around =P

Let's see how work goes on Thursday. My list will probably be limited to what will fit in one box... so no huge apocalypse dealy. 1850 - 2000? and I'm going to need to borrow someone's codex because the campus computer lab kept telling me that my copy was corrupt... even though I can open it on my computer just fine.
And I was talking more out in the world, not in the club, as far as the fun games go...

Today I learned why there's so much counter between us and the customers....
And now I have a nice little 1990 pt. Death Company list to play with...
The two are not connected in any way at all.... <.< >.>

ok. that was a bust. On the bright side, my Death Company died gloriously in battle and I took all the Crisis Suits with me.... except for the one that ran off the board for the greater good...
killed some pansey elves too and bloodied Eldrad's nose.
I'll count that as a pair of wins.

Tasty. Are those assault squads without jump packs? If so, where're the transports?

Thanks for catching that, Andrew. Added in the jump packs.
And there's a Chappy and a Priest with each of those first two assault squads, and the Librarian ins with the squad in the Razorback.
Should give John's Tau something to think about...
