So over the past few weeks we weren't sure how to work Ghaz's Waaagh in regard to my 10 man gretchin squad plus slaver. The FAQ removes the "Waagh" special rule for the slaver. The big thing that I just reread on Ghaz's Waagh is as follows:
"....for the duration of the Waaagh! all Ork infantry units automatically count as rollling a 6 for the Waaagh! movement they wish to make. All non-fleeing friendly units become Fearless for the duration of the Waaagh!."
So since the Waagh rule is removed from the Slaver in the squad, he/they don't get an auto 6 for a run move, nor do they gain fleet. Ghaz's rule still says they become fearless, assuming they aren't already fleeing. Sounds right, right? Also sounds like in a team game my allies would all be fearless during this time, since they're friendly....

I agree. A mob of gretchin would not get the Fleet and 6 benefits, but would become Fearless.
However, GW ruled in their BRB FAQ that if benefits like that don't specify just your dudes or otherwise, it only benefits your dudes. It's the same for things like locator beacons and other icons and the like.
