So my little friend David wants to play an Apocalypse game before he starts the new school year, and the best day we could work with is Sunday the 22nd. Anybody in? We need at least two players, preferably more.

Don't worry, the Orks get their workout against the fine gentlemen at AWC this weekend. No rocket required. =)

That is good. I actually enjoyed your being on my team. The rocket did help a lot too.

Alright we have 7 players now:
Me: Imperial David: Imperial Brian S: Imperial Brian: Imperial? Caleb: Eldar Sam: Orks John: Traitor Guard
I'm pretty sure, but Brian (tweak) do you have a Dark Angels army? If so, then it'd be cool to pit the two DA armies against each other; which one is the Fallen!
It seems a pretty good split otherwise if we did good vs evil (or simply misunderstood), so that'd be:
Good Me David One of the Brians
Evil (or misunderstood) Sam John Caleb (or he can be on the good side, who knows) Other Brian
What do you guys want to do? The points match will be 12,000 a side, so for one team it'd be 4,000 each, and the other it'd be 3,000 each.
Remember, be there by noon. Also, please please make your list before you come, so that we can get started post haste! I'd like models to be hitting the table by 1 at the latest. Also, WYSIWYG! I won't be dealing with proxies in Apocalypse. Lastly, pizza will be provided at the relevant munchy hour (6ish) if we get to that point, though it's likely we will.

Eh too late I decided that those will be the teams. Now to think up a story...

I'm running Daemonhunters due to my Dark Angles only having 2k pts at all.
Quick question if I want to run the redeemer force and there aren't any chaos models are we going to follow the ruling for the Redemptors? Just something I probably should know.

And another quick questions. As of right now with my Grey Knight force I have 2297 pts with the Redeemer force upgrade. I don't have any more models to field with that so I would be glad to give the other 703 pts to a teammate who could perhaps use it to get a apoc big vehicle thing, like a stompa, since I don't own any.
Sorry to be problematic like this let me know what you would want me to do?

Not a problem! Yes, you would be following all the rules for the Formation, so if there are no Chaos models left on the table, and John's traitor Guard don't count as it's just a normal IG army...

It was great. Explosions and doom, slaughter and mayhem! 12x6 board, and the two super heavies on the table didn't get killed! More to follow.

Yeah, very fun game. Though I must say, if it isn't Ork rokkits, it's Mystics and Titans...

The Orks, played by sam, had the most accurate Rock strike ever. It scattered right on top of 1 Grey Knight Dreadnought and 10 Grey Knights. Nothing sets the tone for an apoc game like a several foot scatter wiping out around 400 and some points turn one.
