Need a board to show my army at Core COmp

I'm looking for a board to hold my minis while I transport them around
Anyone have any ideas here are the requirements

Holds 3000 pts of Chaos
Cheap
Easy to build/make.

Preferably Spray Paint able...

I thought about going to the Home depot and seeing if htey have any scrap wood they wouldn't mind getting rid of or the housing siding

What's the number and size of the units/bases they occupy? how much breathing room do you want between them? Do you want it to be pretty? Do you want the places where the models sit to be recessed into the board?

Home Depot or Loews isn't a bad option. I and a few other club members bought stuff from there to make our display boards. Ours are roughly a 2' x 2' square, with pieces around 3 sides for edges, and a couple of just simple pull handles to carry them by. I think we spent around $20 for all the spray paint, wood, and whatnot. Seeing if they have some scrap isn't a bad idea though too.

I really just want it to look not bland and hold my stuff. If worse comes to worse it will be a pop case (the cardboard ones that hold them upright.)
