I've got 50 Gondorian soldiers. It was for a painting comp. at my GW, and I took only 2 days on them I think, maybe less. Anyways, I got the Grey Knight special character so it's all good. Also I have 2 mounted Ringwraiths and Gandalf the White on Shadowfax.
I'm getting Mines of Moria the moment it comes out, or sometime around then. BECAUSE I WANT TO! And the new models are awesome. I'd love to play.

It's points, just like warhammer. You get a certain amount to spend on Heros and Core troops, basically.

I have played a few games with the LOTR stuff. Never used any characters, but I think I fielded 300pt armies for both a good army and a bad army. That was with just the basic box set and maybe making a guy or two captains. Tell me what army you want to play or I will just try to remember to bring one of the books to tonights meeting.
