to promote people into starting fantasy armies i suggest that we do a warband escalation league. the rules can be found here us.games-workshop.com/games/warhammer/gaming/warbands/warbands.htmit is a 4 week campaign, and armies rise from 200 to 500 during the time and keeps track of scores and other things...maybe we can have prizes and the such to get people more interested...let me know what you guys think i think this would be a good way to get people interested in warhammer fantasy and it is cheap and easy to get started since the most you will need is 600 points worth of miniatures.

I definitely like the idea...especially since Warhammer is a way better game than 40K but I dont think as many people give it a chance cause it is a tad more complicated...though not by much.

thats the beauty of warbands cause its so small a scale its easier to learn the rules

I agree. Fantasy is more complicated, but acts out like an actual battle. 40k is like the Rainbow Six of wargaming. Small squad-based action, that is easy to learn...kind of. Good idea though.
