So registration for Adepticon is now open and the warmahordes events are posted... some interesting changes:
2-man event is still there but point values are now 35 point per team member to make a 70 point team.
I think they went this route because so many tables went dice down rather than a satisfying finish. I know Jason and I were only tabled once.
Plus 70 point team gives more room to move on the 4 x 4 table... 100 points was a bit crowded to say the least... so now I have to rethink my two man army.
Also the midnight madness event is now a 50 point Mangled Metal/Tooth and Claw event. Are you kidding me 50 points of beast or Jacks... for Khador that is crazy! Now I am thinking I have to pick up a Butcher figure... probably go with pButcher but who knows.
They have some other events but those are the ones that interest me for PP events... sadly no Monsterpocalypse.... yet. Although the 40K Killzone (probably got that wrong) looks interesting.
Anyway just wanted to post so who all is in for the two man?
Jason and I look to be running our Cryx/Khador combo. Jason is leaning toward Venny while I am torn between Strakhov or eVlad... probably going eVlad.

Rios and I are going to partake in the doubles tournament. Think we are looking to run orboros and everblight. Rios is looking to run a fast or stealth list. I am looking to run the eKaya maxed out tier list for beasty speed! I have to get to painting now that I have the room to do so in my new place.

Cool more people from here at the 2 man tourney the better! It looks like we may have four teams.
Delso you may want to check out the tourney requirements just to double check me but I think for the 2-man tourney tier lists are out. You can build them that way but you will not get the benefits...

Just so people know for the two man event you can't run tiers.

I have found that out about 10 times over lol. Brian let us know when I was there for the Malifaux tourney. Time to re-work the list.

Hey people planning on doing the two man event, perhaps there might be a time we could get together to get some practice in?

Yea I'm not sure I want to do it now. I dont have the time to practice or the willpower to paint a whole army and beings the fact im the lowest on the totem pole at work not sure if they'll approve me using my vacation hours to take a whole weekend off. sorry dude I might still go just to look around if time permits.

Well then, I am now looking for a partner. Any takers?
You don't need the whole weekend to play an event that takes one day. Unless you exert the effort, you will never know if they will let you use the vacation days that you have rightly earned and have a right to use. Don't be lazy, I have none of the Circle done that I plan on using.
