This is where anyone who wants to participate in the warband escalation league that Rios will be running in the spring semester can sign up so Rios has an idea of what to expect.
Escalation leagues are good for starting a new game cause they require you to only field 500pts at max I believe.
List of NIMGC members participating so far:
Mike Rios- Wood Elves Ian Rogerson- Empire (more than likely) Sean Rogerson- Chaos ( I am just guessing this one) Andrew Karolus- Bretonnia (a guess again) Alex Yang- Bretonnia
If you are interested in participating put a message here with you name and army. Either myself or Rios will get more details on here soon.

Some quick disclaimers: *You play each person in the league only once a week, do not play as many games as is detailed in the rules because it is unfair to those who do not have as much time as others *use the thread started in gaming to organize games if need be *rules are posted on the wall and whiteboard in the gaming area at OBG, make sure to use the maps and secret objectives to conduct your games *make sure to check your army specific rules for warbands, i will have them in my binder i leave at OBG or they can be found in the rules downloadable here: us.games-workshop.com/games/warhammer/gaming/warbands/warbands.htm

So, are you ever allowed to make a character commander at more than 75 points? The Ogre kingdoms' little blurb makes it look like you can, but the "for large warbands" section says to use the "for small warbands" rule. What's up here?

We're at 200 pts, so you can go 150 points I believe. Trust me though, in your first couple games you a) aren't going to want a character because you want lots more troops and b) the points make it not worth it.

andrew is correct...you're better off at just having a hardy champion as your commander, for atleast the first week

I would love to try this out if I had an army...or one that I could borrow. Oh well, luck be to the fighters!
