Somebody made a foible at GW and the Stormraven briefly appeared on their site before it was taken down... It looks like an egg with wings to me...I don't think I'll ever get one...though it's really just the height that gets me. Cut off the top part, rework the turret to elsewhere and it's a bit better.

When I saw it, my first thought was, "Man, I really wish it didn't look so front heavy." It looks to impractical for me to like it, but if the Dark Angels get one I'll buy it.

oh kay.... it looks like one of those Nerf footballs that scream as it spirals through the air....
Maybe it'll look better with a Dreadnought clamped to its ass. wait. no. no it won't.
Should this be my next project? Build a better Stormraven?

Ehh it is ok.
To me all imperial/space marine stuff looks impractical.
Nice that they made a model so one can at least buy this and modify it to ones tastes.

I believe it looks like a flying landraid but double the costs maybe even triple the cost.

It looks like the front of a Dropship but without the extened body. www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Space_Marines/Space_Marine_Aircraft/RAPTORS-THUNDERHAWK.htmlI wonder if they (GW) intend to make a thunderhawk and this is the beta for it. Because (not how true this is) GW is no longer supporting Forgeworld since they put out the Baneblade and other super heavies. I laughed when I read the bottom of the Stormraven GW propaganda when I thought of how the landraider is usually A HUGE BULLS EYE. .
