The frankfort chapter will be meeting on Saturday January 22nd.
We will be playing Warhammer and 40K. Other game systems could occur.
Where: Josh's House or Dragons Refuge (both in Peotone)

Sorry to be annoying but did you decide what the location is cause I think DR is having their games day so there will be a better amount of folks there. I should also have all my 40k stuff ready (Blood Angels) Well not painted but put together and actually have. Stupid GW and their o it only takes 3-4 bizniz days. ......

I will also have my blood angels (hopefully i can get it all put together and maybe primed).
i can field (when the rest of my stuff comes in)
2 10 man tactical squads
2 rhinos
2 dev squads
5 man assault squad
10 DC w/ Jumppacks + lemartez
3 units of sanguine guard
dante x2 (friend is giving me one i'll use the other as a commander)
the two new special characters
a scout squad (5)
a dreadnought
Pretty much it for now wondering if anyone had any ideas on what else would be good to pick up.
If we do go to your house can you PM or email your address Josh?
Also Ian may come down. i may also bring a friend that will use my beastmen his name is also josh so there will be two joshes and two seans..... (maybe) I'll have to print out my beastmen book at work Hey if those stupid bizniz students can waste 1.5 reams of paper and a bunch of ink why can't i?? Atleast i will use it more than they will.......

I wouldn't worry too much if your stuff isn't primed or anything. My BA are mostly just assembled and on bases. I am painting prior to adding jump packs on so most of my infantry look like dancing idiots. Oh and Josh, I did finish the Necrons, they are looking pimp. If I get it done by then too I'll bring the display board I've been working on bit by bit

Sweet I am kinda torn between the meeting, going to New Game and playing the Malfaux tourney (even though i haven't played one game) or goin tot he shop. But I'm sure i can hit the shop latter. I'll just go play warhammer/40k probably. I think im gonna throw down this whole new FAQ for 8th edition. If a BSB can have an extra weapon he should be able to have shield i really hate these unclear rules that they have... I'm gonna try to email them and ask them about the BSB if it runs does he die .... That is a waste of points IMO...

So where are we going to meet, I know that the TDR is having their games day that evening and maybe run out of room if we dont ask for reserved table, if you guys want to play a small game warhammer during the gamesday and try the other games going on (Spartan games, anima tatics, malefux) I would suggest TDR, if not josh's house (remember that the gamesday is a $3 entry that goes to a pool for a raffle for gift certificates)

Ok folks...Garage is up and running. It is now heated so we can definitely meet at my house. Right now I have four tables available. Two 4x4, One 6x4, and one 7x7. In the future the tables will change but this is what I have available at the moment.
I say we meet like last time. Around 2PM and we play till we dont feel like playing anymore.

I'll be heading down after I get out of work at 2....so I'll plan on being down there after 3. I am supposed to go to the GW in orland as they're giving out awards for their escalation league I took part of. That's not supposed to be until after hours though, so I'll have plenty of time to be down there

Had a great meeting today. Six people showed up and since we had extra 40K armies we decided to have a three vs. three 40K battle. This was my first game 40K since 4th edition was out. Andrew hadn't played 40K since 3rd edition. Teams: Andrew K., Sean S., Ian R. (Blood Angels, Blood Angels, and Dark Eldar) VS. Randy Z., Josh L., Frizzel (Demons, Orks, and Necrons) Scenario: Kill Points, Pitched Battle We went 5 turns...goin back and forth in kill points...and eventually we drew. It was an extremely fun game. I got to use an army I have never used and it was enjoyable. Orks are definitely a fun army. So I hope all you guys had a good time. I am really looking forward to our next meeting. So now for the pictures:          |

It was fun  except for the 3rd degree frostbite on my feet jk but ya feet were cold and my real complaint is we didn't do the circle jerk I was promised..... was fun.... Nice place and roomy. SO did oyu find that board yet ? |

No but I havent looked yet. Today was really cold so...since the only thing that was cold was our feet, I would say that the heater did a good job.
