What size? and what size bases should they be on?

Foam.
Hulks can be a little bigger than the Planet Killer, and must be on a large flying stand (battleship standard).
Rocks can be roughly as big as a Kill Kroozer and goes on a small flying stand.
Are you making an Ork fleet? I'd like to play BFG....

Certainly contemplating it. Also remembered how much fun it was to make asteroids with some foam and a soldering iron... not that I have any of those left.
I suppose my first step should be to get all of my Imperial ships back on their flight stands.
