Does anyone know of a good online tutorial for source lighting? Or could someone perhaps show me a quick demo in person sometime when I'm around Dekalb? I'd like to have my red gauss rods on my necrons give off a red glow, and am not really sure how to go about it without trial and error. I would rather have a better understanding from the start...

I can email it to you later on tonight when I get home. I read through the whole thing (200+ pages), but alas it didn't really help me. The people that wrote the source lighting section (as well as the entire internet it seems), don't really say much for doing lighting against metal surfaces which is what my necrons are. I want it to almost be a faded light, so with red light against blue metal I was thinking a really light purple wash and blending up a red tint.
