So is there points for a painted army (Only one painted army list needed for the points?), I dont mind this at all by the way. Also it is $5 or $15 day of and will start at noon right?

For the record, part of the reason there's some negativity towards the painting bonus on the forums is probably that Warmachine fans have often used it as a selling point for the game -- that your skill as a hobbyist doesn't really affect your skill as a player. And also because Privateer has a seperate tournament format, Hardcore, that DOES have painting requirements. Steamroller was originally sold as a very competition-oriented format, so a lot of non-painters bought into it. And some people tend to get pretty miffed when a tournament isn't run precisely to the standard format, so that's a thing too.

That said, I don't personally have any problem with how you're using the painted bonus. I didn't look at it too hard, but it basically looked like it would only really come up as a tiebreaker, and that seems fine. Now, if it was a case of a painting competetion being integrated (which I've seen done in the past), that'd bug me. Especially since, y'know, most people really couldn't repaint their army between tournies.

Last I checked Privateer Press' motto is "Play like you've got a pair!" Maybe all those whiners should follow this advice.
