I am gonna be there. Cant wait to get in some gaming again...I might come in Friday night or early saturday morning. I might be in Quad Cities on Friday for Tacticals so it would be easier just to stop in Dekalb than to drive all the way home and drive back up there on saturday. We shall see. Either way though I will be in town on saturday so be prepared.

Hey guys, I've come out for some of your 40k Tournaments in the past, and was wondering what the break down was for your WarMachine event, because I'd be interested in coming.
Points? Painted? Etc?
Thanks
Dan B.

The way it usually runs is one faction, two lists (bring printed lists if you can).
500 pts
Mixed Warmachine/Hordes tourney.
Starts at noon on Saturday September 29th at On-Board Games!
Not sure of entry fee as it changes with prize support.

Any painting requirements?
Entry Fees?
Special format for army lists?
Thanks
Dan

I'll be there by 12:00 noon, I'm hoping to get some people I know to join me. I could pull between 1 and 6 people

No painting requirements that i know of...
Entry fee is usually between 5-15$ or 25-35$ purchase day of...not positive.
No special army lists that I know of...if its legal in the rules you should be able to do...so as long as you can supply the rules feel free...I think.

Man, this sounds like it's going to be a great tournament - I wish I didn't have to work.

Gary won with 18 points, going 3-0-1
There was a 3-way tie for 2nd place, at 16 points
Jason w/ Trollbloods 2-0-2 Adam H. w/ Menoth 3-1-0 Dan B. (Myself) Khador 3-1-0
But they determined the placement by schedule (what I was told).
I had a good time though.

Yeah, the whole 'strength of schedule' thing is kind of weird. Particularly considering that the guy who only got 2 wins somehow placed higher than someone with 3? By that scoring it rewards someone for stretching out a tie rather than gambling on a win.
I'd like to see a better method, but I don't know how it would work.
