Hey all,
Greetings from the frozen north (Northern Wisconsin... almost Canada). It's been a while and I miss you guys in DeKalb. Starting a new job soon and looking to get inspired to start up 40K again.... again. I know, I know, I have chaos and tau, blah blah blah. I'm trying to flex my long atrophied scratch-building skills and I think I want to do an army of airship Orks. All the vehicles. Airships of one size or another. Probably something zepliny for the battle wagons, a little smaller for the trukks, and basically small hot air balloons for buggies. plenty of Defkoptas and boyz on repelling ropes.
Here's the bit that I'm getting stuck on. Does anyone have a relatively easy way of modeling balloons and airbags? I remember a while ago someone made a Dwarven airship.

Thanks Link! I'm just trawling through his posts instead of trying to search for things... fascinating work.

So, I was sitting around before work today and plugging away at some sketches for the Ork airships I'm planning on building and my brain skittered around with a Freeboota air fleet. And the next thought was Soopa Karrier. Which led quickly to Morkross. And the final thought before I had to clock in was: "Son of a $*%@# I have to do it." Yeah. There's going to be pictures. Probably sketches to begin with.
