New Game in Town is doing it again with a 50 point Steamroller!! We hope to see ya there! Now for the particulars:

When: Sunday, June 24th; Check In Starts at 11:00 am, Dice Drop 11:45
Where: New Game in Town, DeKalb, IL www.newgame-intown.com/
Details: Bring two 50 point lists.
- Character Restrictions*.(* Character Restricitions means if you have a named unit, solo, jack, or beast it can only be used in one of the two lists.)
- Casual 2012 Steamroller Timed Turns and Scoring.
- 2012 Steamroller scenarios so plan 10 additional points that will be designated "reinforcements" for each list.


Cost: $5
Prize: Steamroller Coins for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.

Tweak: Well if you lived in a real town with awesome event organizers then you would be able to partake of the great events we host. Maybe if you're up sometime we will get a game in.

Well it looks like we have a crowd for the tourney on Sunday. Not sure if I got everyone that figures to be there but I think I got most.

If I missed you and you will be there let me know and I will add you to the list.

Please remember that while you should have two-50 point lists you do not need to play both lists...

Thanks to everyone who showed up this Sunday. Given the changes and everything that took place the turnout while low (6 players) was not unexpected.

So without further ado and going from memory here is how things wound up:

First Place: Tom M. w/ Cryx
Second Place: Jon C. w/ Khador
Third Place: Tom K. w/ Cygnar

I am a bit fuzzy on second and third as but I think Jon pulled it out with control points.

Anyway it was short but I hope everyone had a good time. July is looking sparse for Warmachine/Hordes events but I know we will have a Steamroller at New Game in late August (Cornfest Saturday) and then the Collosal release event in September/October. We may also have a tourney in early August but still working on the details... not sure if we will do a steamroller again or a odd format.

Finally I am looking into the week long Summer Rampage event... I will post more details as I get them!
