Thinning paints for airbrush

I finally got my airbrush and was wondering if anyone had any ideas what to use to thin the paints. I have heard both windex and water. Any suggestions are welcome

I'd recommend using Vallejo Paints with their thinner. Also use distilled water or if you have a reverse osmosis tap use that instead of regular tap water.

For oils you want ot use mineral spirits.
