The Eldar always were before the Dark Eldar, much like Space Marines before Chaos Space Marines. Both fell from the same cause: Chaos. Except in the case of the Eldar, they formed Slaanesh. Dirty rotten pieces of pointy eared ecstasy! What he talks about in his story is when he was an original Eldar, he still thinks he is...just different. Much like in the Eisenhorn trilogy, he starts as a puritan and goes radical, but doesn't "feel" the change simply because of everything.I like fluff. Especially when it contradicts itself. Link me the story that you mention, so I can add it to my collection of idiocies of GW. Although, fluff-wise, there aren't many that I've found, which is impressive. I guess it's the one good thing GW can do, ha.
What is contradictory about this story it tells how vect organized the dark eldar after they had created slanesh?
I agree matt they should show a bit more like eldar I mean they were eldar I mean look at chaos marines and space marines they compliment each other quite well it would be nice if the dark eldar could do that. I mean they currently have the smallest codex....they were probably done in haste.
Does anyone know if the dark eldar came out in 2nd edition or 3rd?
The reason I say the dark eldar are older than the craft world eldar is while the craft worlds were being created the pleasure cults already existed and these pleasure cults are actually the different kabals that exist now.
I mean they are the same race but the craft world eldar and dark eldar are just the remenants of the great creating eldar that I have really heard nothing about them except from this story.
